Our Program

The YMCA child and youth development program provides opportunities for children to learn, grow, and thrive as they make their way from K – 8th grade. We provide daily physical and educational activities like sports & recreation, homework and distance learning support to assist students in meeting their teacher-assigned requirements, arts, science, math, and technology experiences that allow students to engage in programs often underfunded in public schools; all while socializing with friends in a safe and healthy environment.

Kids Love the Y!

My time at the Y really changed my life. I used to go home and do nothing. Always sleeping, watching TV and listening to music was my daily life. My grades were dropping and I often was depressed. Once I got to the Y all of the staff were very kind. They provided me with all the materials I needed to finish my missing work and current homework. I used to think that I wasn’t able to pass any classes until I got to the Y. I started to keep myself occupied instead of being lazy. I met new friends and my old ways of being depressed completely went away. Me now is the best me I know. My grades are better and my confidence is 3x better than before.
